Ranya & Talal | Wedding Photography | Chelsea Town Hall | The Arts Club Dover Street

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Talal got in touch with me from Dubai and was super charming and made the civil wedding plans in London for his fiancée Ranya who lives in New York.

Having made the excellent decision of Chelsea Town Hall for a small and intimate ceremony of friends and family, Talal also chose the Arts Club on Dover Street for the wedding drinks and lunch.

Just recently re-opened with great style and panache, it made an unbelievably stunning location as well as particularly suitable for Ranya, a private art consultant.

The day was really, cold, but it just added to the very London mood of this January wedding. Here’s a few highlights of the happy day.

Winter Wedding Photography | Marylebone Town Hall

Thursday, January 19th, 2012

Amanda and Rodrigo had a gorgeous intimate wedding just before Christmas at Marylebone Town Hall and then London’s Savoy hotel.

I always tell couples not to worry about the weather, as we can get beautiful photographs no matter how dark and how difficult the weather, and Amanda’s and Rodrigo’s day really put that statement to the test with howling gale force wind and rain.

I think they turned out brilliantly, and you wouldn’t even know we all had to go straight inside and change clothes!

Winter Civil Partnership Photography for Dane and Carl | Old Marylebone Town Hall

Thursday, January 19th, 2012

It’s not often that I get asked for photography at wedding on a Monday afternoon in January, but I am so glad that Dane and Carl got in touch since this civil partnership was completely delightful.

They happy couple came over from Australia to have their civil partnership in London at classy Marylebone Town Hall, and it was a relaxed and fun afternoon for everyone. It’s clear these two are a match made in heaven and are going to be very happy in life!

Katie’s & Mark’s Wonderful Winter Wedding | Iscoyd Park

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

Katie and Mark got in touch over the summer from Hong Kong about their Christmassy, winter wedding in North Wales at the beautiful Iscoyd Park.

We had a Skype call, afterward I was very excited about this very special wedding.

The day was just perfect in every way with a snow the day before but a mix of ice, sunshine and dramatic winter weather.  Inside everyone was toasty by the fires, and the day was made even more festive with Christmas carols included in the ceremony, fab live music throughout the day and Christmas dinner complete with turkey and sprouts.

Katie and Mark topped off the day with their own Strictly Come Dancing entry as their first dance to All I Want for Christmas is You!
